Support project for medical equipment

As part of its medical aid program, Lazarus Europa recently visited the Leprosy Hospital (Lalgadh Leprosy Hospital & Services Center Dhanusa) in Nepal.

During this visit, the chief physician, Dr. Gräme A. Clugston, provided detailed information about the current health status of leprosy patients and the significant financial challenges facing the hospital, emphasizing the urgency of short-term support.

Among the various requests for support, the provision of medical equipment for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment was identified as the most urgent need.

Against this background, Lazarus Europa, in consultation with board member Dr. Gille, has decided to gradually equip the hospital with the urgently needed medical equipment.

With this support, Lazarus Europa aims to improve the treatment conditions of leprosy patients in the long term and to ensure high-quality, structured medical care.

The association will continue its commitment in the future to enable leprosy patients and their families to live in dignity and receive the best possible medical care.
